Today, 1 in 40 families will find out their child has autism. 1 in 88 children will be diagnosed. Sierra Foothills Academy is asking students, parents, families, and staff to join us in raising much needed awareness and funds to help support the families in our communities and across the nation that are touched by autism. To participate in our “Pennies for Autism” change drive, send spare change with directly to the school during the week of April 14th through the 18th. Containers for collecting change can be found in all classrooms as well as the front desk/reception area. All collected money will be donated to organizations promoting autism awareness and research. The classroom that raises the most money will be rewarded with a classroom party.
