Meet us at the MIND
We will be participating in the Resource Fair at the UC Davis MIND Institute’s Community Open House this Saturday, April 26th from 11am-3pm. It’s FREE to attend and fun for the whole family. Come by and say hello and find out more about our educational programs here at Sierra Foothills Academy. We’d love to meet you!
The “MIND” stands for Medical Investigation of Neurodevelopmental Disorders. It is a collaborative international research center, committed to the awareness, understanding, prevention, care, and cures of neurodevelopmental disorders.
Enjoy family-oriented fun at the 4th annual Community Open House. Activities will include art stations, balloon artist, magicians, and lunch and snacks for purchase at the food trucks. Kids can get the wigglies out in the bounce houses, by scaling a climbing wall, or “hanging 10” on a surfing machine. Check out the community resource area and meet representatives of local and regional resource organizations, from art groups to libraries, leisure activities to health organizations. MIND Institute representatives will be on hand with information about how to participate in research studies and how people of all ages and abilities can make a difference.
